Sesame Noodle Salad


  • 16 oz. lo mein noodles, spaghetti, vermicelli, etc.

  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, snow peas, scallions etc.), steamed if desired

  • 1/2 cup sesame oil

  • 3 Tbsp cup soy sauce

  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp hot pepper flakes, or to taste OR dash of lime juice

  • 1/4 cup white sugar

  • 2 Tbsp honey or to taste

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds


  • Cook pasta according to package directions to be al dente. Drain and rinse. (This may be served hot or cold, so chill noodles if desired.)

  • Combine dressing ingredients. Add to pasta and mix thoroughly. Stir in vegetables and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
