Volunteering for the Fair
You can help with selling honey, answering questions, working in the demonstration booth, and handing out brochures. You do NOT need to be an experienced beekeeper to volunteer! We will have long-time beekeepers available on all shifts to take the tough questions. You can get free entry to the fair!
If you have used the club’s resources (Managed Mentoring, honey extractor), you are requested to take at least one shift at one fair in exchange.

Fair Hours: Operating hours for the fair can be found on the Hunterdon County fair website: Fair Hours
Fair Passes: The fair chairperson will make all attempts to provide entry passes to volunteers in advance of the fair. Please volunteer early so time can be allotted to make arrangements.
Entering the Honey Show
Prep and submit your honey entries. Entries are accepted through 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.
To participate in the honey show you must be a member in good standing with the NJBA.

Finding the recommended
parking lot:
Go past the driveway where everyone else is turning. Continue down the road another few hundred feet. There is a second driveway on the right. This is for vendors. Turn right here.
Park in the large lot on the left and walk back to the fair. The NWNJA tent (shared with 4H) is after the third right.
