Most beekeepers are happy to extract honey once the hives are strong enough. But what else can you do with wax, propolis, and honey? Come learn about soaps, lotions, balms, and candles!​

Learn How to Keep Bees

NWNJBA 3-Day Short Course

​​

Designed for people with zero to five years of beekeeping experience. Whether you’re thinking of getting started or you have a few hives and want to get better, you can learn from us. Taught by Master Beekeeper Jean Miller and other experienced beekeepers, this course covers all the basics plus offers a field day for hands-on experience.​

 

Lecture Days: September 7 and 14, Hunterdon County Complex (Bldg #1), Route 12, Flemington

Field Day: Date TBD (late September or early October), Valley Crest Farm and Nature Preserve, near 70 Valley Crest Road, Lebanon
